Educational Scavenger Hunts

One of the better scavenger hunt games for everyone are museum hunts. They really do not consist of finding physical items but better yet to search for clues that "hidden" in paintings, sculptures, etc. These types games become educational to children and adults a like. As a matter of fact once adults play these types of games they walk away saying "I learned something today by playing this" there are a few companies that offer these types of games and are great for a family outing, birthday, adult gatherings, or something to doetc. Give them a shot i am sure you will love it!

TwithunT A New Way Of Scavenger Hunting

Twithunt is a new type of scavenger hunt that is all conducted via twitter using a smartphone. The way it is conducted teams will each recieve a smartphone and be given special instructions on how to play. The game coordinator will then give clues for specific areas for items that are planted that the teams have to retrieve in a specific time frame, through twitter. It is new way of scavenger hunting and it's bringing new challenges into an old fashioned game. Cashunt is now offering the game and has included it as a small bonus round in some of their other games. Another fun aspect is that the general public not only can follow along by logging into cashunt's twitter account, but they can play the game from the comfort of their own home.. If you like to follow along log on to www.twitter.com/cashunt

Las Vegas Scavenger Hunts

I think one of the best places to conduct a scavenger hunt is in Las Vegas!! This is such a great game board because of all the "props and places" that Las Vegas offers. The best thing to do is if you know the Vegas area, is to go around and include several places in your game, obviously make them easy to get to and not dangerous. Once you put all your pieces together you will create a great game for your family and friends. If you don't feel like doing that there are a few reputable scavenger hunt companies that can do that for you. VIVA LAS VEGAS!

The best types of hunts are the ones with a theme behind them...

When you think of a scavenger hunt you don't want to create a game where it is typical as most games can be. Try to create a game that has a little bit of a theme around it. Most people do games surrounded by holidays as in Easter, Christmas, etc, that's fine but think of other games you can create. How about a reunion hunt, a family outing hunt, an anniversary type of hunt, what makes those hunts interesting is because they can be customized and it becomes a little bit more intimate and humorous amongst your players.

High Trek Adventure...Pretty Cool Stuff!

I was brought to the attention of the High Trek Adventure which looks pretty cool and fun! The basis of the game is like an amazing race where team of two have to use their wits to solve clues, etc to get to the next point and eventually to the finish line. After looking at their website it looks like a lot of fun, there are games that take place I believe in 21 major cities in the US and eventually it ends in Vegas to determine a champion. So check them out and tell them the scavenger hunt idea sent ya. www.hightrekadventure.com
