They really do not consist of finding physical items but better yet to search for clues that "hidden" in paintings, sculptures, etc. These types games become educational to children and adults a like. This book has become something of phenomenon with kids and adults alike. This game is part scavenger hunt, mystery , and online gaming that results in prizes, historical knowledge and much more! This will be a 10 book series that comes in rather short books that are fun for the kids and in someways educational. After each book the readers can go online to try to solve other clues about the story and play additional games associated with the game for more adventures. The Great Urban Race is a great adventure and a great hunt game in itself. It is pretty much like an amazing race but it is open to everybody that wantes to play. There is a fee of course but it is well worth it! They go from major city to major city where many teams of two play to win this mad cap race. From there at the end of their season they have a big race of all the major finalists that play for a major prize. We took part in Boston last year and it was a blast and we plan to do it again. If you are going to hire a professional to create and customize your scavenger hunt, do you research. What you should look for is price, what it consits of, prizes, etc. There are a couple of companies that offer a lot of game for a great price, and then there are others that offer very little game for a lot of money. So see what companies offer before you sign on with them. You never what to be in a senerio, where someone else does a hunt that had more game than your game for a much cheaper price.

Make it easy and leave danger out of the hunt...

It's always nice to make a challengeing hunt, just to be different but you must be carefull. There are some hunts out there that people do that requires driving cars, bikes, etc. In that case i think it's too dangerous, the hunt should always been on foot. Your hunt should never include driving, climbing, boating, riding , etc. It's too risky and you don't want to be held responsible. Always keep it fun and safe.

A scavenger hunt by far is one of the oldest games out there today, but in the same time one of the most played games that ever was. There have been so many versions of the typical scavenger hunt but all in all it is always a fun and original event. Most people ask where you get the inspiration in order to create a hunt.
